We offer bone and gum grafting, along with teeth extractions for patients who require surgical services.
What is a bone graft?
Bone grafting involves adding bone or other materials to an area in your jaw that needs extra bone.
If you have decided to move forward with an implant procedure, your jawbone must have enough support for a dental implant to be successful.
Why does tooth loss happen?
You may lose a tooth for a variety of reasons. If you have gum disease, have a tooth infection, or experience an injury, you may require tooth replacement.
Some of the reasons a tooth may need to be extracted include:
- Jaw damage
- Crowding other teeth
- Teeth which are partially erupted
- Teeth damaging others
- Sinus issues
- Advanced levels of tooth decay
- Cyst formation around teeth
- Gums that are infected
Wisdom Teeth Extractions
Wisdom teeth are generally the last to emerge from your mouth. While every person is different, your wisdom teeth can start showing around the ages of 18-20.
Depending on the way your wisdom teeth are growing or if they get infected, you may need to have them extracted.
